TERMS AND CONDITIONS - IN STORE PURCHASES ONLY

1. Introduction
1.1 These Terms & Conditions apply to the sale and delivery of products by
Cardiff Kitchen & Bathroom Store (“we”, “us”, “our”) to the customer (“you”,
“your”).
1.2 By placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms.
1.3 Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights
Act 2015 or other applicable legislation.
1.4 “Working days” means Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays.
2. Orders & Payment
2.1 All orders are subject to availability and written confirmation.
2.2 Payment must be made in accordance with our agreed trading terms.
2.3 Ownership of goods transfers to you once full payment has been received.
2.4 We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders where errors or omissions occur
(e.g., pricing, description)
3. Delivery
3.1 Delivery Windows
Deliveries take place Monday to Friday between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm, excluding
Bank Holidays. The delivery driver will contact the customer when they are on
their way to provide an estimated time of arrival.
Delivery timeframes are estimated and not guaranteed. Delays do not constitute a
breach of contract.
3.2 Notification
Our Customer Service Team will contact you before delivery using the
number provided.
The driver will also call on the day of delivery.
3.3 Kerbside Delivery (Important)
All deliveries are kerbside only. This means:
Goods will be delivered to the nearest safe, flat, accessible point outside
your property.
Drivers are not permitted to enter your property or unpack items.
Depending on weight/size, drivers may require assistance with unloading.
3.4 Delivery Requirements
Please notify us of:
Height/weight restrictions, narrow access, low bridges, overhanging trees or
cables
Parking/waiting limits
Any concerns regarding kerbside delivery
If delivery cannot be completed due to access issues, redelivery charges may
apply.
The customer must be present at the time of delivery to provide a signature.
3.5 Risk & Inspection
Risk passes to you at the point of kerbside delivery.
You are responsible for moving goods from the kerbside into your property.
Please inspect goods for missing items, damage, or packaging issues.
We ask that you report any delivery issues within 5 days, so we can resolve
them quickly.
This does not affect your statutory rights regarding faulty goods that become
apparent later.
3.6 Scheduling Tradespeople
Do not book installers or tradespeople until you have received and inspected your
goods. We will not be held accountable for any costs incurred for tradespeople due
to delivery delays or delays in supplying replacement items. If you are a supply-
only customer, please ensure you have discussed the products with your
tradesperson to confirm they are suitable and compatible for installation.
4. Cancellation Rights (Online / Distance Purchases Only)
If you order online, by phone, or off-premises, you may have a 14-day right to
cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
This does not apply to:
Custom-made or personalised items
Items unsealed after delivery where hygiene rules apply
Special-order items clearly marked as non-returnable
If an item is simply surplus to requirements – you have 28 days to return this
to the showroom.

5. Faulty Goods
5.1 Reporting Faults
Please report suspected faults as soon as possible.
We ask that faults are reported within 5 days of delivery where practical, but faulty
goods may still be reported beyond this period under your statutory rights.
This does not affect your statutory rights relating to goods that were faulty at the
time of delivery.
5.2 Assessment
All faulty goods are examined by us or the manufacturer.
Do not continue using or install the item once a fault is suspected. If an item
is found to have been installed after a fault was identified or reasonably
suspected, you will forfeit any right to a replacement, refund, or further
claim.
5.3 Remedies
If goods are confirmed faulty, you will be offered a:
Repair,
Replacement, or
Refund,
in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
5.4 Payments During Assessment
Payments must continue to be made under agreed terms until goods are confirmed
faulty.
6. Change-of-Mind Returns (Commercial Policy)
This policy applies only to non-faulty goods and is offered at our discretion.
6.1 You may request to return surplus or unwanted items within 28 days of
delivery.
6.2 Goods must be:
Unused
In original packaging
In a resaleable condition
Eligibility for return is subject to inspection.
6.3 Restocking Fee
A £25 handling/restocking fee will be applied per order when multiple items are
returned at the same time. If items from the same order are returned at different
times, a £25 handling/restocking fee will be charged for each separate return.
6.4 Non-Returnable Items

6.5 Returns after 28 days cannot be accepted.
7. Returns Process
7.1 To request a return, email: cardiff@kitchenandbathroomstore.com
7.2 Returns will be accepted once goods are available for collection and meet the
relevant criteria.
7.3 Collections
Our supplier will attempt collection within approximately 3 days. Please
note that this timeframe may vary during weekends, Bank Holidays, or other
non-working periods.
Two failed collection attempts will result in cancellation of the return.

7.4 Condition Requirements
Returned goods must match the condition described in your return request.
Drivers are instructed not to accept items that do not meet return criteria.
7.5 Credits & Refunds
Inspection is required before any refund/credit is issued.
Credits typically take up to 7 days after inspection.
Manufacturer inspection times may vary.
7.6 Customer-Arranged Returns
If you return goods yourself:
The customer will be responsible for returning the product(s) and
collection(s) at their own expense in their original packaging, unopened,
with all carriage and transport costs being payable by the customer.
Goods remain your responsibility until delivered and checked at our
Showroom.
8. Product Quantities & Design Changes
8.1 Quantities of tiles, panels, trims and materials are based on customer-provided
measurements.
8.2 Additional materials required due to cutting loss, layout, or installation
methods will be chargeable.
8.3 Design changes made after initial approval may incur additional product and
labour charges.
9. Aftercare Guidelines
Our products are manufactured to high standards. To maintain appearance and
function:
Failure to follow aftercare guidelines may void manufacturer warranties but does
not affect your statutory rights.
9.1 General Care
Clean regularly using a soft damp cloth.
Do not use abrasive cleaners, bleach, or corrosive chemicals.
9.2 Shower Valves
Check water pressure prior to installation.
Pressures above 5 bar require a pressure-reducing valve.
9.3 Brassware
Clean with a damp cloth only.
Do not use corrosive chemicals; dry with a soft cloth.
9.4 Sanitaryware
Clean white ceramics with suitable cream cleaner.
Black toilets must be cleaned only with warm soapy water.
9.5 Furniture
Avoid hot soapy water; use non-silicone cleaners.
Keep at least 300mm away from radiators/towel rails.
9.6 Worktops
Do not cut directly on the surface or expose to excessive heat.
Wipe spills immediately.
9.7 Wall Panels
Clean with mild soap and water.
Take care around cut edges to prevent water ingress.
9.8 Ventilation
Adequate ventilation must be maintained to avoid humidity damage.
9.9 Warranties
Failure to follow aftercare guidelines may void manufacturer warranties but does
not affect your statutory rights.
10. Limitation of Liability
10.1 We are not liable for:
Indirect or consequential loss
Loss of profit or business interruption
10.2 Our total liability for any claim relating to goods shall not exceed the price
paid for the goods in question.
10.3 We do not exclude liability for:
Death or personal injury caused by negligence
Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
Any rights you have under consumer law
11. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform obligations caused by
events outside our control, including but not limited to extreme weather, supplier
delays, transport disruption, strikes, or industrial action.
In such circumstances, timeframes will be extended accordingly without liability.

13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and any disputes shall
be dealt with by the courts of England & Wales.
14. Entire Agreement
These Terms & Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the parties. No
verbal advice or representations shall alter these Terms unless confirmed in
writing.
